Putting an ID is not compulsory. I didnt put any and my case went to ottawa. my mom had PAN no. but no expiry date........Infact india doesnt have any national id, until aadhar is fully implemented.

mine is Officer NW, but my file went to ottawa but the letter doesnt specifically say that " Your file has been transferred to Ottawa". It just lists Ottawa's detailed contact info and asks u to contact ottawa for any updates/enquiries.

Shuga/Mockava, can you please answer as to how did u receive medical & PCC request from Ottawa ( meaning e-mail or regular mail) If regular mail, then received at canadian or non-canadian adress? Maybe being a representative is a factor, also advise if u both are reps for ur parents

Visa extension doesn't necessarily trigger medicals. As far as medicals go, my mom has been CIC's guinea pig. She has been in Canada 5 times and has underwent numerous medicals/re-medicals both in india and in Canada. My mom's quite healthy and is only 50 with no conditions/ailments(thank god)...

Well pari, mine is different as i sent originally on jan 23, asked to submit affidavits, and re-submitted docs on feb 23,2012. So i guess jan 23 is still the date for me.
