My parents just received letter in mail requesting for PCC alogn with some additional documents required for un accompanifying adult dependent and also copies of all the pages from sponser's old Indian passport. Hi Singhnx01,

That is indeed very good news for those of us whose files have been sent to NDL. So it seems they take 3 months to start processing.

I am not sure if we can post images unless the images are hosted somewhere and on this forum, you ooint the url of the image.

Hi Everyone

I would appreciate if someone can assist me with those 2 questions:
1- I am sponsoring my widowed mom and got letter from CIC for additional documents, since my mother is a widow, is a copy of my father death certificate enough to provide, or still she has to provide copy of her marriage certificate (she is having hard time locating it, and to issue it from scratch back home will take forever), can anyone with same situiation answer my question please??
2- When filling in IMM0008 form, can I put her mailing address as my address here in Canada, since my mother does not know English and is living by herself and cannot figure out what is in the letter if it was sent back home, so I can read the letter and explain to her by phone what she needs to do??

Thanks you everyone

1. If it is not possible to provide a copy of marriage certificate, your mom should provide a sworn affidavit that she was married to your father on so-and-so date
2. You can provide your mailing address on imm008 provided you also fill out the representative form and give the same address there.

Actually I am not a representative for my mother and she is now residing at a senior home back home, but I do not want to write the mailing address as her residence address at the senior home as there is no guarantee that she will get it and as I mentioned she cannot read English, so If I can't write my address here in Canada, can I at least write the mailing address an address back home for one of my relative to assist her reading the letter??

Hi guys,

Just noticed a slight change in my ecas status. Earlier, I could see 2 lines - mine and ky mom's. Today, however, I see only my Mom's line. My line has disappeared. And yes, I double checked, I did use my uci for logging in.

Though the actual status has not changed ( still says Application Received).

I noticed same thing....earlier it was 2 lines...............now just my mom's name.

Also, my case has gone to ottawa, does this mean my sponsorship is approved meaning they wont ask for my income documents now..

P.S - My brother-in-law, who applied for her mom in 2008, got a letter from mississauga asking for job letter and option c for 07,08.

Can someone check to see if you are able to log into your E-Case. I tried several times this morning using the right info and got a message that I have exceeded the number of attempts. Has anyone experienced this today or before?

If you know that your file was sent to Ottawa, that means you have been approved as a sponsor. It is very unlikely for them to ask for option c printouts now. However, technically, officers can ask for option c printouts at any stage in the application.

Report

It happened in my parents case also. Under my UCI It changed from two rows to one where first column is sponsership- Decision Made and second column is Application for permanent residence- It is application received. Our case was transferred to New Delhi (LVO). My parents received letter dated 04/23/2012 yesterday from New Delhi VO requesting for PCC and some more documents relating to non accompanying adult dependent (my elder brother) and also requesting my dad's personal history and also copies of my(sponser) old Indian passport. But there is no mention of medical. In any case, it is first time I have seen any body recieving any letter from New Delhi requesting for PCC after this new pilot program started. I hope everyone else whose case transferred to New Delhi will start receving come kind of communication for PCC and medical.

Congrats, is there any time limit to mail these, like ottawa had within 2 months?
