Thanks for the suggestion. Great idea. We had some contact (request for updated police clearance certificate, which had expired), and I sent another email a week ago. But putting in URGENT in the subject line is something I should have thought of. Will do that! Thanks again for all your help...

Shuga, thanks for your answer. Maybe we will be lucky. Ecas has been saying "medicals received" since June 2012. We did not get a request for a follow up exam. My sense is that we are just caught in the volume of applications. My mom is lucky that she can visit (no visa requirement), but right...

Yes, thanks for the info. One quick question, in case somebody can help: Does the info "decision made" typically appear on ECAS first, or would we expect a letter / email before the information gets updated on the website? I am getting tired of checking Ecas....

LVO in europe. After I had sent an email, they asked for an updated police certificate, which we provided. Nothing since (about 3 weeks ago).
