I would definitely pick the first one. Sounds like the most promising and secure. And a very nice bonus that it is top 20. I also like the idea of making equal to your husband, but I could be biased since I am a teacher and my income is peanuts (in the States anyway). ;)

When my husband called the call centre (a hopeless attempt at information) they told him the reason they may not be replying is because he is the sponsor and not the applicant, so I sent an email instead. They responded a couple days later. It's worth a try I suppose.

::) How annoying. I'm assuming the same thing happened with my background check. They claimed the one I sent was through a "third party" when in fact it was direct from the FBI. Had to reorder and resend. Hope you receive your COPR soon!

I emailed them Thursday, July 25th and received the response around 10:30 last night. My husband emailed them to inquire as well last month and we never heard back. When he called CIC though they said maybe no response because he was not the applicant so that's why I decided to email my self. I...

Oh, forgot to say, also like Ivan, my status on ECAS still says "application received" even though I got the email it is in process. REALLY hoping that is COPR waiting for you at home, Ivan, because then hopefully for us we are about a month away from COPR as well. *fingers crossed*

Actually received a response email from CIC last night letting me know my case is "in process". Hope it is true!! Maybe we are actually getting somewhere again. Come on COPR!! :P

Sent an email to CIC last night to inquire about my application again and see if it is "in process" yet. Hopefully we will hear something back this time. I might pass out if I actually see a response in my inbox. :o Hopefully it will be good news if any news. Fingers are crossed!

Not a bad idea. My husband tried calling the hotline yesterday. Of course no help. Only thing said maybe they didn't respond to his emails, because he is not the applicant, so I guess I will attempt to email today. I'm guessing you had no luck hearing anything back yet.
