Any September applicants who have not heard anything after AOR or MR?

Hi guys, My application reached to CIC on Sept 2, 2014 and received AOR on January 13, 2015. I did my medicals upfront in July, 2015 and got the acknowledgement of that. But I haven't really heard anything after that besides the spam RPRF request in January. My ECAS has three lines: "we...

Hi all! Sept 2 applicant here. It's been a while since the last time I posted. I haven't heard anything from CIC in October for the acknowledgement of receiving my upfront medical exam result. My ecas says that they have received my medical result. Haven't been requested any additional...

There's no problem in paying it, since we all need to pay the fee at some point in the future. So no worries! :)

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Yes, just a few minutes ago. Here's what it said in the body: "This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa. Please disregard the previous request for payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee sent on January 18, 2016. That email was sent to you by error. We...

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Yeah, I might have been wrong on this one. I read on another thread that the batch email was sent due to a mistake someone made in CIC. With all the mixed up information floating around right now, no one knows what's going on...

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Hi, Sept.2 Applicant here. Received the RPRF request this morning as well. I've done upfront medical back in June 2015, so technically, this would be the next step, if I'd been considered admissible... But seeing how a lot of people received this email this morning, (and there have been a...

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Oh ok, that's interesting... I actually attempted to change my address back in August and no changes reflcted back then as well. I guess I will send them a reminder this time. Can I just send it to the usual cpc-ctd-ottawa @ cic.gc.ca email address?

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

Hi, I'm a Sept 2 applicant. Again, like everyone else patiently waiting... I submitted an address change, within Canada, via ECAS, nearly a month ago, but it seems the change hasn't been reflected yet. The website says it would take 5 business days, or no longer than 2 weeks. Has anyone else...

How to inform CIC of change in employment status

Hi, I recently had a status change in my employment, and according to the AOR email, this needs to be informed to CIC. On the AOR email however, it says "Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth...

    Options after CEC application rejection?

I'm just curious what the trivial reasons for the rejections are. Do you have any examples? If one/some of them apply to my application, I'd like to be able to do something about it before getting rejected...

    CEC October 2014 Applicants

So, if they ask for PCCs, do you know if we can send them scanned copies of the original PCCs or do we have to mail the physical copy of the originals?

    CEC October 2014 Applicants

I believe sending a scanned copy via email would suffice. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong.

    September 2014 - CEC Applications

My understanding is that you don't need to inform CEC anything if you're just going on a vacation. You need to inform them only when you're moving to a different place (within or out of Canada), so your mailing address and/or the residential address will change.

    Mobile Application Developer NOC trouble

Hi, If my understanding is correct, as long as your duties match your NOC (by 2173, you meant 2174 right?), your job title doesn't really impact which NOC you fall into. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. I applied under 2174 as well with work experience from two different companies. My...
