How to inform CIC of change in employment status

Hi,

I recently had a status change in my employment, and according to the AOR email, this needs to be informed to CIC. On the AOR email however, it says "Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc)."

The email provided is for the intake office in Sydney. Shouldn't I be emailing to the CTD-CPC-Ottawa address instead?

Also, if anyone here has done this before, did you provide any documents to show that your status has changed?

Cec is based on previous experience, so changing employment status does not change your application (considering you have applied under cec), thus you don't need to inform CIC. AOR has generic format and for other programs changing employment status may matter but not for cec.
