hi guys,

I got a request from cic asking for additional documents via email. Long story short. I changed my job in 2015 . should i add an explanation letter or my current job letter as well because i have to send a new schedule A form. That form will contain info about my current job as well. Also, should i send them hard copy via mail as well or not?..Please advise

Hi Everybody, my BOWP (applied in December 2015 during the dark days) got approved today. I had a question if that really counts for anything. Is it safe to assume that I may have passed eligibility on my PR? I saw a lot of conflicting opinions in this forum so thought of asking this again.

I am a Sep 29 2014 applicant with AOR on Feb 6th. I did upfront medicals and RPRF on March 4 2016 and got confirmation that both are added to the file. I hope I get my PPR in a couple of weeks.

Your opinion is much appreciated, and congrats to everybody getting PPRs!

On a positive note..It's good sign..
On a safe side..Hold on your party planned until you get your PPR request..

Hi guys, I just got the photo to send with my PP to the LVO. The background appears to be very light grey in color, but not pure white. Would that be a problem? Please advise. Any input will be truly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi folks, I just landed at Coutts. My timeline is on the left.
Everything went smooth. No lineup, just our family for landing. It took about an hour in and out of the border office. I brought new photos with me, but the officer told me that they were not needed.
This forum has been a tremendous help. Thank you so much guys!

Is it better to land in this boarder ( Coutts) than in Caraway? Or are they just the same? Thanks!

My application reached September 3rd (CIC Received), but no PPR till date? Should I fillow up with CIC via GCMS? Or sit quiet? Any advise

Hi,
A new line got added today.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on February 4, 2015.
3.We sent you correspondence on March 1, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4.Medical results have been received.

However I have received another email to submit background declaration and PCC again. SO I guess no news until I submit these document again.

One question on Background declaration. It has a section for the addresses for last 10 years.
If I have been to another country for 1-3 months (work purpose) multiple times, should I include those addresses here as well? This information is already there in the travel form but not sure about this one

Hi, Same case and I have been advised to send this via email (Sign+Print+Scan+Attach) by senior memebers. Also we do need to include all the new information after September 2014 to keep CIC updated.

I had a same query in my mind and I would agree with Kota1978 that it is a positive sign but lets wait to see the PPR...I am oct applicant, applied BOWP on 3rd Nov and got it approved on March 9 (medicals done on March 8 upfront)....

Hi all!

Sept 2 applicant here. It's been a while since the last time I posted. I haven't heard anything from CIC in October for the acknowledgement of receiving my upfront medical exam result. My ecas says that they have received my medical result. Haven't been requested any additional documents either.

Has anyone else who applied around beginning of Sept. 2014 in the same situation?

Would it be possible that my file went onto the second review?

So happy to see many September applicants finally seeing lots of progress, and I'm just anxiously waiting to see any progress on mine...
