Fast-tracking applications when there are children involved?

Sorry to be harsh, but why should it be fast tracked, maybe slow-tracking the having of children would have been the wiser choice.

    Landing in different city?

Make sure there is enough time between landing in Vancouver and the connecting flight to Toronto. The landing process, is usually pretty quick, but if there are a lot of people landing at the same time, then hold up could occur. Otherwise she could miss her connecting flight.

    Appeal disaster

But if the relationship is good, waiting 2-3 years for full PR wont make a difference and if the relationship breaks down, then the applicant could probably want to move back to their own country anyway. I came to Canada to be with my wife, I didn't marry my wife just to come to Canada. If it...

Development of Relationship > Genuine Relationship Letter

Don't doubt it, our relationship history was for a period of six years and was a bulleted statement which was a page long. We sent about 20 photos and a few photocopies of letters and emails from throughout the relationship, to show how far back we went. I also gave copies of boarding cards...

Landing - supposed to get an info pack at airport??

I never got one when I landed in Toronto en route for Vancouver either, I think it is just a lot of photocopied sheets telling you how to get a SIN card and things like that, I don't think it is that important.

my relationship is genuine but i have doubts on my in canada sponsor application

I am sure you have given enough evidence, considering how long the relationship has gone on for and the fact you have a child together etc. Some applicants, I feel go way over what is required, we didn't send a huge amount of evidence, but what we did send, showed that the relationship was long...

Do they always request photos for PR card with passport request?

As far as I know you don't get your visa on the day of the interview, but they tell you about the decision some time after it.

Pictures - how many needed total??

In the region specific paperwork it should tell you exactly how many photos you need. However, when I had my PPR, I had to send more, so if I was you, I would get more than you need, so that you don't have to worry about getting additional ones at a later date.

I never thought about it but what would you do if it was refused?

We never spoke of it. We just didn't want to even think of it and luckily we never had to.

    Goods to follow

Make a list of everything you want to bring and anything you might consider bringing. In the case of goods with serial numbers list them individually listing the numbers. With other things you can bulk them together eg Clothes, books, kitchen utensils, cds, etc etc with an approximate cost. It...

1st landing will be done at PacHwy in Surrey, B.C. - need POF? Photos? Lists?

Spousal sponsorships do not require proof of funds and you won't require any more photographs. The good to follow list should include everything that he intends to bring with him into Canada, but doesn't have to be too detailed. For example, mine listed all my cds as "X amount of CDs approx...

S/O - What will you miss about where you are originally from?

Well I am already here and have been six months and the things I miss are minor and can live without, being from the UK, I miss chilled cabinets with things like scotch eggs and pork pies in, I miss certain types of chocolate, I miss a faster postal service, I miss faster speed limits...
