    I applied outland, as well. I'm american, hubbie is canadian. anyway, i have a visitor record and i have come and gone countless times and have not experienced any problems. Not sure if I'm just lucky but that's been my experience. Hope this helps!

    I called CIC and confirmed with them that you can. So, I did use a channeler. Though, I've been told by others on this forum that you cannot. I haven't heard anything back, either way, so I will let you know if I hear anything.

    Our medicals were done and submitted months prior to actually submitting our pr app and everything is ok on our end so you should have no problem. But, that's just what we've experienced.

    I'm a US citizen and spouse is CA citizen, and sponsor. I actually had my medicals done here in Canada, using their forms, etc. and no problems whatsoever with them. However, that was just my case. It's always a good idea to call or get more information. However, hope this helps.

    Oh no, I agree with you! I would do the same thing. I just speak of my own experience, that's all. But, it definitely doesn't hurt to try! Beats sitting here *trying* to wait patiently for this whole process to play through. Good luck and keep us posted :)

    I agree. It is usually an admin person that handles it. Normally, when you contact the MP's office, they will be unable to do anything if the application is within normal processing times, as well.
