hello folks,

Please let me know if I need to include the medical report for my wife when submitting the spousal application form at missisaga. The problem is me and my wife both are in out home country. My wife is in student visa in USA. is it okay to use the local DMP report here from our country instead of DMP in USA? There is another 7 weeks before she returns back to USA so I am thinking of visiting DMP from our home country. Can we do that? any idea. I'll really appreciate it.

You can use any DMP, in your country or anywhere in the world. You should include the proof of the medical with your application when you send it to Mississauga.

I was just checking CIC's website, and actually I cannot find anyplace where it specifically says you can use any DMP. Does anyone else have a source for this or a link?
You are planning to apply through Buffalo, right? And not her country of citizenship?
You could ask someone you know in Canada to phone the CIC call centre and ask. The Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100.

I'm a US citizen and spouse is CA citizen, and sponsor. I actually had my medicals done here in Canada, using their forms, etc. and no problems whatsoever with them. However, that was just my case. It's always a good idea to call or get more information. However, hope this helps.
