No problem at the airport.

Yes I submitted on 15 August, and received the Renewed PR Card in the week of October 9-13. However after getting the card, when I see the application status in the portal, it shows returned with a reason which is False. I choose to ignore it, I think its a bug.

Applied online for Wife's PR Card update (surname update) on April 9th. Raised couple of web forms since its beyond the normal processing time, absolutely no correspondence from IRCC. Anyone else in similar situation who might have applied for renewal in April? I guess I should try calling them...

Spoke to the airline (Delta) - They said as long as she carries her old passport, new passport, PR Card and marriage certificate she should be fine. Her travel is much later. After she's back, I will update this thread with how things went.

Okay. Probably we need to user the name mentioned on her US Visitor visa for air tickets. Yes, passport renewal will be done in India and that's where she is going to update her blank surname to mine.
