Well I have submitted, my PR card renewal application on Feb 1st, 2023. got an AOR on Mar 8th, 2023 and that's it. No response after that. when I tried to call IRCC, They responded back say that my application is in progress. I think I frequently visited US a number of times. May be that causing the delay or I don't know. Now I'm starting to feel stressful

What number did you use to call IRCC? Thanks!! I am so so worried now, it has been two months since I submitted my renewal application in June, still no responses and the application is not yet processed.

Hello all, wanted to provide an update - might be helpful for others. My wife and I had submitted our online applications for renewal of PR Cards on May 6. We did not receive any confirmation/acknowledgement email or AOR.
However yesterday, without any updates or notifications, we received our PR Cards in the mail. Took two months and a week.

What number did you use to call IRCC? Thanks!! I am so so worried now, it has been two months since I submitted my renewal application in June, still no responses and the application is not yet processed.

Why are you worried for application submitted in June? Processing time right now is around 3 months which will take you into September on average. You could be lucky to have it processed earlier but normally I wouldn’t be worried until September

Applied online for Wife's PR Card update (surname update) on April 9th. Raised couple of web forms since its beyond the normal processing time, absolutely no correspondence from IRCC. Anyone else in similar situation who might have applied for renewal in April? I guess I should try calling them next week.

Hi, no it was a standard application without any urgency requests.

Timeline for my mother’s PR renewal:

May 29: Applied online
Aug 1 : able to link application to gckey
Aug 7: Application approved
Aug 14: Card received in mail.

I was trying to link my PR card renewal application on 12 June 2023 to my IRCC account but only able to link the application of my first PR card which was 5 years ago... is it normal?

I submitted my application on July 12, 2023 by regular mail.
Received AOR on August 15, 2023.
When I went on the online tracker, it says "decision made", however, when I go on GKey is says under final decision: your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Which one is it?

Same with me. From what I could gather if the file is submitted but yet to be processed then it won't get linked to GCkey.

Just got an update from my MP office - they said my PR card renewal has been approved and the card should reach out to me shortly. Here’s my timeline:
Online application submitted on 12 June
Linked to my first PR card application on 13 Aug
Application approved without AOR on 21 Aug

My wife’s PR card timeline
Applied online on 13 april 2023
Status showed - incomplete file till now
Linked with gc key 2 weeks ago
Update received on email PR card approved and mailed on 22 August.

they took more than 4 months to process

It weird! Time line is not standard for everyone I believe. Currently it shows as 83 days.
