    No, u'll not be automatically covered in most provinces, even if u had landed earlier. Every returning PR has that mandatory wait pd. Your only province for getting it imdtly is Alberta & Manitoba. These 2 r the only ones who don't have the wait pd for Medicare.

    Every CHC has a yearly quota, u can rest assured of that. However, yours could be on hold for a security return as well. But, nothing to worry. U'd receive your due shortly - could be even before that 60/90 days.

    @ Anwar77m 1. If u have consented to email notifications, u'd receive your PPR my that mode. Else, it'd be a paper doc. 2. Med furtherance usually come by regular mail, with a sealed envelope, to be delivered by u to your DMP. 3. For reTest cases u should hear from CHC by 4-6 weeks, usually.

    North York would be your best bet, vis-a-vis commute. 1. Downtown: congested & pricier - better avoided. 2. Scarborough: avoid - unless u have friends/relatives there. 3. Mississauga/Brampton: could be far, needing a car. 4. Markham: Ok - but a Chinese enclave, if u aren't one.

    It wouldn't make much of a difference between Summers & Winters, 'coz either way u'd use the A/c, won't u? One - for cooling, while next - for heating. Anyway Hydro has gone pricier, due to HST being added into your billing. Citizens r voicing their disgust/distress - let's wait & see if...
