I got my initial approval from Nova Scotia along with a file number BXXXXXX. I was asked to submit my application with supporting docs to CHC London which I did in the last week of May. I got the 2nd AOR from london with a new file number BYYYYYYY in July. I was informed in the 2nd AOR that the new file number BYYYYYYY would be used henceforth. With the new file number, my ecas status shows 'In Process' since Jul. I was never able to track my ecas status with the Nova Scotia file number. (The message said the file number was invalid). I was expecting either a medical or rejection letter referenced to the new file number.

Yesterday, I recieved a refusal letter containing my old file number (BXXXXXX) stating that I did not submit supporting docs within the 120 days timeframe and that they have closed my file.

My question is how is that CHC issued me a new file number if the supporting docs were not recieved. Also, my ecas still shows 'In-Process' with the new file number.

Has anybody had a similar experience ? I have requested for my CAIPS notes and have also requested for clarification from CHC using their online system. I have uploaded the 1st AOR from Nova Scotia, the 2nd AOR from CHC and also my submission letter listing the supporting docs.

As you can understand, I am puzzled and also stressed as I have scored 16/16 in my IELTS and have more than 20 yrs of experience and was expecting my medicals.

Appreciate your responses.

You can contact / write email to CHC and explain that you have sent all docs and you have new file number as well.

It seems some confusion. Hopefully it will be sort it out, dont worry

Good luck

Have u got a rejection letter from them . If u have got send a email as well as a letter to them explaining that if u had not submitted the docs how would u get a new file number. Its a mistake on their part and I hope this will be sorted out. Keep the HOPE ALIVE.

Hi

I cant understand the Canadian System....lots of confusions, even my application has been declined on the basis of new rules in effective from June 26 2010...where as my app is submitted to NS on June 9 2010,where in the new rules IT has been removed from the 29 list eligibility category

Btw,can i know the email id from which u received ur rejection letter and also few contact numbers n email ids of the canadian embassy

Thx

Sai

if your e-case still show in process then we hope that the refusal letter issued to you by mistake.
send email to chc giving them the new file no. , & refer to the date you sent your documents, the shipment tracking , & date of receipt,& all other, get the cosignee form from courier, uupload all these documents. i hope taht will change your situation.

Hi Kankal ...
I m sure this is a case of mistaken identity .... where you have received refusal letter meant for some else with ur name.
Bcos there is no way in the world they can sent you a letter if they have sent you the 2 aor along with file no.
But you have done the right thing by sending a case specific enquiry to them along with supporting docs.
Take it easy ... they will get it sorted out ... and you will get a revise corresspondence from them to disregard the letter sent to you earlier.
Hope that helps ...

@Kkankal
Just send your VO an email with your observations; & u'd be fine.

@ Kkankal

One of the possibilities according to me is that ur supporting docs were received by the visa office after 120 days deadline and when ur file got inprocess it came to the notice of the visa officer and he straight forwardly rejected it. As far as 2nd aor is concerned , it just indicates that documents are received by VO at this stage they dont verify whether all docs are correct or not and also dont check the 120 days deadline .Its upto the visa officer to whom the case is assigned to check for the details and give his decision.
Kindly verify if ur docs got to the vo after the 120 days deadline
If no then surely it is an email by mistake from the vo.

My friend I am exactly in the same boat as your are and my story is line by line similar. now my consultant has sent a case specific inquiry and is currently waiting for any answer. I think you should contact to CHC London asap through email and attach the acknowledgment letter with Email. We can hope things would go alright.

I will keep you posted about my response from CHC london.

Hi,

I have got some fears in my mind aswell, I haven't send the original Transcript, Birth certificate and Marrige certificate within 120 days deadline, but now planing to send, confuse whether they will gonna accept those or not, totally confused.

@jakram

Since ur vo is islamabad and now it is been shifted to london .The London Vo is strict I fear that u will be in trouble if u have not sent the original sealed transcripts.Also they strictly want all the docs in a single package.
Nevertheless send the reqd docs immediately alongwith an explanation letter n leave the rest to god.
