if you call CIC, the agent will be able to look at your file and tell you if your file has been approved and if its just a matter of scheduling you for the oath. I wrote the test on 28 May at Kitchener and have been called for Oath on July 16.

They do send the file to the local office as well. When I went for my test, I saw the application I submitted to Sydney at the local office, so it does look like the entire file is mailed to the local office.

I dont think Doctorb application is in progress yet. What he/she posted is just the CanadaPost tracking info, not the ecas update. Late April applicants still don't see an ecas update.

who is the late May applicant seeing progress in eCas? I don't see any of the May applicants reporting that they see an update in eCAS.

No, I havent got the letter, it was only posted yesterday, so I guess I will get it tomorrow. ECAS hasnt been updated yet. When I wrote the test, there were about 15 people, 2 families only.

Have you called the CIC call centre? Kitchener is calling applicants for oath who have written the test upto end of May. People who wrote tests up to May 21 have already got their oaths. The CIC agent should be able to look at your file and let you know if it has been approved or not. There is...

I got my citizenship oath scheduled for July 15. I called the CIC call centre today and the agent gave me the news. I haven't received the letter, but he mentioned the letter was posted yesterday.

You can call CIC in 1 to 2 weeks and they will let you know if your file has been approved by the citizenship judge. After the test, if the CIC officer recommends to the judge to approve your application, it usually gets approved in a week or two and then you just wait to schedule the oath, but...
