did agent say when application was transferred for you.. I see mine and urs date match closely
received-Mar3, started-Apr9.
there is no update online for me but when i called cic i was told my file wastransferred june 18 to mississauga. Wonder how long before its reflected online or its not supposed to be ?

As redstone said, the transfer is online so it shouldn't take more than few mins if they really transferred.
In my case it is not clear what they meant by ' in transit'. I'll have to call again and clarify. I'll post it once I call again.

They do send the file to the local office as well. When I went for my test, I saw the application I submitted to Sydney at the local office, so it does look like the entire file is mailed to the local office.

We received your application on 21 Mar 14.
We sent you Booklet on 21 Mar 14
We started Processing on 01 May 14.
Received line still there.

My 08 years old Kid also applied with me. I did not check his status on ECAS until a week back. His timeline is

and even i can not see "We started Processing on 01 May 14", in his ECAS status.

never called CIC until now. Can some one tell me if a kid aged 08 need to attend test or oath ceremony or be present to get the citizenship certificate ?

We both also applied for PR cards renewal on 20 May, with no status available on E Cas , so far. Our PR cards expire on 25 Sep 14.

The file is still 'in transit'.
Do you recall how long it took for you to transfer to local office?

They start processing for kids very late than adults. For me, our application started processing on Apr 9th whereas for my kid, they started only May 26th. But it wont take much time for kids. They don't need to do the test, but I believe they need to attend the oath ceremony but not sure.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 31, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on May 27, 2014.

Hi guys I have question and it might sound dumb but please bear with me. ...... as per the above example ezeetrade is saying the received line disappeared but the line is still there. ..... I am a bit confused by this phrase help
