They can identify you by the application number that was in the AOR1 as far as I know. Since you're 2 months ahead of me, I'd really appreciate if you could update whenever you hear something from Vienna. Shouldn't be too much longer for you. Good luck!

Apparently Vienna doesn't send out an AOR2. Next time you will hear from them will either be a documents request, interview or COPR basically.

I do not recommend sending thousands and thousands of pages. A couple of (full) conversations a month are enough. Think of the poor officer opening that huge application. They have to scan the pages as far as I know and a lot of those pages would just go in the shredder. Quality over quantity...

From what I understand, applicants from visa excempt countries don't have to send in their passport, they receive COPR in the mail.

Hello fellow Vienna applicants. Can anyone tell me if Vienna is known to send out AOR 2 by mail / e-mail or are they one of the Visa Offices that don't? Thanks.

Our ECAS PA side (finally) changed to "In Process" and states they started processing on August 1. I'm guessing that's kinda like an AOR 2? Not sure if Vienna is one of the offices that actually sends out AOR 2.

We also put our application into 3 envelopes as described by Boris. In addition to that we also included an overall index for the whole application and an index for each envelope. I figured that way it would be easier for the officer to find what they're looking for.

I have the same timeline as you. Received May 24, started processing June 9. We got the SA yesterday. However we also called and they told us by mid August. So don't freak out just yet. It'll be your time soon.

I'd actually recommend going for the Working Holiday Visa for 2017 cause you would automatically have a 1 year work permit. I did it for 2012, applied end of 2011 and had no problem getting it. You just have to figure out when the time starts that you can apply for 2017 and make sure to do it...
