Hi everybody! I just received an email from CIC asking me to send an Updated version of the Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM 5540). I was checking the version that I sent and I find no mistakes. Why do you think they are asking for it? I´m really worried, I don´t know why they want it again, and I don´t want to make any mistake since they won´t give me another chance if there is something wrong.
Is there any possibility that they want just an updated version in case that there has been a modification of it?

Please help me!! I have no idea what to do.

There hasn't been an updated IMM5540 since April 2008, so that can't be it.

Did you maybe forget to sign? Or left something blank?

Comply-redo form, scan and submit via case specific enquiry.

I'm thinking that maybe I made a mistake leaving in blank the cell "to" in the period of residence (question #8). I left it in blank because my sponsor is currently living with me in Argentina, maybe I should've wrote "present" or the date when the form was signed by my wife.
I did the same with the current job.
Another option is that I didn't write “N/A” in the cells that don't apply in this case, like #13 if you answer "yes"
For what I’ve been reading today, blank spaces are always a bad decision.
I wish they would have given more information about my mistake!!!

I wouldn't recommend using the date signed by your wife on question 8, because it would look like after that date she stopped living there. Write present. If not possible on the computer, do it by hand.

And yes, blank spaces are not the ideal. I wrote N/A everywhere when there was nothing for me to fill out.

Good luck

Thanks a lot for your help!

Please submit a SIGNED version of Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM5540) for your spouse.
This document has to be duly completed and signed.

Maybe she forgot to sign and I forgot to check. I was so nervous/excited that it could happened.
