I am arranging my documents finally to be send to CIC. However, I noticed that under sponsored checklist, Question No. 25, they ask Proof of relationship to sponsor? Does that means I have to photocopy whatever I have from my principal applicant (photos, facebook copies) onto sponsor section too?

we did not do that.
maybe we should have done that, but it sounds silly to submit the same photos twice.

Do you all arrange into 2 section? Sponsor (envelope), Principal Applicant (envelope)?

The majority of people will do an applicant envelope, sponsor envelope and a proof of relationship envelope.

On each envelope put the applicants and sponsors name somewhere and write that it's envelope 1 of 3 etc.

Each page in the proof of relationship should have the applicants name and UCI (if already given).

I'm pretty sure when they initially receive the application, all 3 envelopes are opened and the officer groups them how they want anyway.

You do not need to submit proof twice. The whole application will stay together during processing. People often put things in different envelopes, but this is really just to organize it and so it stays together during mailing. Once it arrives at the processing center, these envelopes will be thrown out.

Each page of proof of relationship should have applicant name? So which mean if i include 54 pages of facebook copies and flight tickets etc, all of the copies.. i need to write my full name and UCI NO.?

That is good to know as i did not do that.

It is not necessary. But it is something some people do just for their own peace of mind. There was a photo on here a while ago of the office at an embassy, and files were piled up to the ceiling, in boxes, on the floor, a huge mess. It looks like it would be pretty easy to drop a box of files. So if your evidence has your name and file number on it, and if the pages are numbered, it makes it easier to put things back together if something goes wrong. Just as an example, at my husband's interview the visa officer threw our application on the floor. Needless to say, things were not put back in the right order. For all I know, things were lost.

We also put our application into 3 envelopes as described by Boris.

In addition to that we also included an overall index for the whole application and an index for each envelope. I figured that way it would be easier for the officer to find what they're looking for.

Omg threw on the floor, kinda rude uh. You make a good point. I better write down my name in all the supporting documents. Peace of mind. After we paid our fees, we will get a file number?

Oh, sorry. Of course you will not have your file number when you send the application in. Yes, you will eventually get a letter or email with your file number. Then if you send in any additional information, you include the number so it can be matched with your file.

Name and date of birth of the sponsor and applicant can be used as the identification heading for the evidence. Or just your names.

Thank you very much.

Another question: I am planning to write my name and UCI No. on the supporting documents (does that include everything, even my certificates? And should I write my sponsor name on his supporting documents but I presume those official letters shouldn't be tamper, right?

I wouldn't write anything on official documents. They will have the sponsor's name or the applicant's name in any case, or both. Maybe if they are photocopies.
