Paid part-time intern while studying counts as work experience?

Dear all, I had worked as an part-time paid intern for my company for about 1.5yr (16hrs a week with around 30% salary of full-time position) while doing my master degree, and was offered a full-time position (40hr a week) under the same NOC upon graduation. I am still working at this company...

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

Before the new changes, I had expected to receive an ITA at end-2016 or early-2017. But with all the new changes and uncertainty, I am not sure. We should wait for the Nov 30 draw (hopefully there will be one) to see OUR RAY OF HOPE!

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

An one point drop in the cut-off score to 469 would be a ray of hope!

60,689 candidates active in the pool as of October 3rd.

Yeah, the score is unlikely to drop soon, but i do not think 25% of the candidates in the pool have >450 scores.

60,689 candidates active in the pool as of October 3rd.

What do them mean by active candidates? The previous snapshot of the pool in March indicates 1% of the active candidates with higher score than 450. This seems impossible for this snapshot? But even if there are 10% that are higher than 450, there is only around 6,000? is that possible?

60,689 candidates active in the pool as of October 3rd.

This is a snapshot presented at Immigration Law Summit according to CIC NEWs. http://www.cicnews.com/2016/11/express-entry-human-capital-skills-experience-more-prominent-under-new-system-118705.html It would be useful to find the rest of the snapshots and related PDF. Could experts like...

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

I am 3 points short of max, but I won't take IELTS again neither. It was a horrible experience for me...the long wait and the worry. I even had a cold sore due to the pressure...hope the score would drop or OINP would open..

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

No change for my score and no relative ranking. Waiting at 453 and hope the score would drop. A question: Can FSW applicant land in Quebec? The province is not included in the provinces or territories that u intend to reside?

    47th Draw - CRS 470 - ITA 2427

A fellow Chinese applicant said that she only uploaded the first page of her passport (the one with name and gender etc.), but she has recently received her PR and landed in Canada. So I am not sure about whether one should scan every page.

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

I am at 453 now and my score will rise to 478 next April after having three year working experience. But I do hope that CRS will drop to 453 before April. Pray.

Ray of Hope - *48th Draw*

You can choose the better of the two as long as they are valid.

Ray of Hope - 47th Draw

As far as I know, it's very difficult for Chinese students to get 8777 for IELTS. They can achive an overall score of 7~7.5, but 8777 needs tremendous efforts. Since Chinese students constitute a big chunk of internatinal students (at least this is the case in the UK, not sure about Canada), I...

    Job bank deactivation???

Hi all, I received an email asking me to sign in to my job bank to avoid deactivation. Will that affect my EE account? Thanks. I forgot my password for the Job Bank, and tried many times. It is now temporarily locked.

Ray of Hope - 47th Draw

If all the talks about clearing pre-EE backlog are right, then there may not be too much increase in processing time as the officers worked on pre-EE applications would now turn to EE.

Ray of Hope - 46th Draw

As far as i know, upon ITA or AOR, your profile would not expire. I am not sure which one but I think u have plentity of time. So no worry.
