An one point drop in the cut-off score to 469 would be a ray of hope!

How long before we (I am at 450) can have a ray of hope?

6 months, may be?

If it were 410, I would be so happy :-[ :-[

Before the new changes, I had expected to receive an ITA at end-2016 or early-2017. But with all the new changes and uncertainty, I am not sure. We should wait for the Nov 30 draw (hopefully there will be one) to see OUR RAY OF HOPE!

Hopefully, there'll be our 'ray of hope' by the end of this year.
with CRS in 450's we should however, be ready for 'post-ita reqiurements'.

Yeah, hopefully we can have our chances! Good luck to both of us!

I think the cutoff this time would be more than 475. Lots of International Students have got extra 15-30 points.
Considering 2500 ITA's; I believe the cutoff would easily touch 475+.
Anyone who was an International student was at 460 or above is now at atleast 475. :o :o :o

Hi Guys,

Under "Intended work in Canada", in the 1st question: "Does gatiott have a job offer in Canada?", should I say "Yes" if I hold a PGWP and have a full-time job (no LMIA)? Help please!!

No, you need an lmia. PGWP is not a job offer.

Yea - I was an international student at 456 and now at 486 after education change. There are lot of people with one year experience between 450-480 who would have moved into 500s. We can't really comment, but the articles say that the score might increase in the first draw but will eventually decrease.

International students made 30% of the total ITAs and they are aiming for 40%, so 10% more students will get lucky :D

Yea thats right. BTW do you have a degree from Canada?

As an Int graduate who was awarded 30 points last week, I really hope CIC removes all the unfair points awarded to LMIA, PNP and Int students from the CRS criteria. Whoever who deserves an ITA should obtain enough points from other human capital factors. I know lots of people who became PR before 2015, if they were to go through the new CRS system, they wouldn't get more than 350 points.

Hi all,

I just updated my profile last weekend and did the e sign as well, but my score is still not updated, which should be over 24 hrs already.

Anyone experiencing the same problem? I am noing to have good news this week after the updated score though.

Make sure you answered all the new questions properly as many people have made mistakes in those.

Otherwise you can withdraw your profile and create a new one to have your points awarded immediately.

Cheers :)

Just check again and all the columns are filled. If possible I really don't wanna recreate everything.
