Hi i got my ita as well.. :)

Just have one question i am in canada i have done indian pcc in january 2016 and havent been to india since then. Do i have to do it again or is it valid?

I heard its valid for 6 months only..
Plz reply

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp you should be okay? "For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country." that would seem to be your situation.

Its been 3 years i havent been to india.. and i did pcc in january 2016.. but i donno if i put the old one it will be risky?
M jus afraid.. and if i do new one from here canada it might take more time to process..

Well keep in mind that as part of the PR application you're also required to tell them about your travel history over the past few years and provide scans of every page of your passport, so they'll know that you're telling the truth about not having been to India since your police certificate was issued. I don't see it being a problem.

No i havent been since 3 years and it will prove when i send my passport and all.. but m just worried dat it doesnt get rejected seeing january 2016 pcc..

You are okay with that PCC since you haven't been back to India, but if you are really concern getting new PCC won't cost much and I believe it takes about 3 weeks which still leave enough time for you to submit application. but again as per CIC your current PCC IS VALID.

For indian pcc it takes 4 to 5 weeks and i want to put my file asap. So dont wan waste time.

If its valid thn i will put my file..
M jus worried it wont get rejected..

I think you should go for the new PCC and new medical as well....other wise these small things may cost you during the application process

A fellow Chinese applicant said that she only uploaded the first page of her passport (the one with name and gender etc.), but she has recently received her PR and landed in Canada. So I am not sure about whether one should scan every page.
