Yes it took 38 days for my in laws to get the PP request.Now the passport is stamped and in return transit to VAC IN LA from 2 days. don't know still how long it takes to get them.We have tickets booked on this Friday :(

it takes 35 working days for the visa . i have applied on april 5th and pp requested on may 30.

hi I have submitted the passport on may 30 at VAC LA for stamping at LA sonsulate .can i get back my passport by firday june 6th.i have my tickets booked for june 7th.can i make it ? Does anyone know how long it takes to get back the passport.

hi , its most likely you are going to miss your trip.the VAC are closed on Saturdays and Sundays and the consulate as well. u should get your passport by the end of the week . BTW i am also in the same thing , i have submitted the passport on May 30 , have to travel on June 7

i think the processing time from outside country replicates to both online and paper Applications. i have applied visit visa to my mother in law from LA (she is on b2 visa) on APR 4th and haven't heard anything till date. :( Any thoughts !!!!!

The processing time is currently 15 calendar days based on complete application.

Yes the LA dosent accept teh in person applications.the only way is online or paper applications. http://can-am.gc.ca/visas/apply-how_la_demande-comment.aspx?lang=eng. check in this site
