My parents TRV application is very quick.

May 19th - submitted application online
May 20th - Got a letter requesting their passports
May 26th - they mailed their passport (yap it took 6 days, busy)
May 29th - MyCiC showing that application is APPROVED (they are still waiting for their passport with Visa)

Applied in the Philippines.

Thanks bonitaellada, that's what I think. I posted both old and new passports yesterday morning and explained why I am sending the old version, I hope they will not lose my passports.

This morning NY office received the documents.

Week we applied on monday in india there passport

Got dispached today

I just want to knw what are probabilties of getting vida

Should i count days from the date I applied or the date I gave my biometrics? Because I gave my biometrics after 20 days of applying due to some problem.anyone please?

Hi guys...

So I submitted my application last MAY 12,2014..

and shows in status OPEN & READ.

but until now I haven't heard of them I tthought it will only take 3-5days or its faster than Paper application

What should I do?

My mother applied Visitor Visa here in the Philippines via online application Last May 14, 2014....after 24 hours we received a letter for passsport request....I sent her passport with the leeter of request last May 21, 2014 thru DHL..Last May 24, 2014 her status was changed to Application Approved...No more medical request and interview..Right now, we're waiting for the return of passport wit visa stamp..So, I think online is the fastest....Currently, they posted 14 days total processing.

Hey guys, I submitted my TRV application on April 24 th. However, on may 13th I received an email saying my application has been updated but there was no new message. And Uptil today I haven't heard anything from the visa office. How long does it normally take to process an online application?

Check your status on CIC online....I also received an email like that and there was no new message....But then they updated the status....try to log in ...and check your status...Ex..when application has been received , it wil appear- OPEN.......It's like this

I am also waitng for the return of passport of my mother.CIC posted application APProved..We also applied online TVR for my mother ..We sent her passport thru DHL...CIC requires a return envelope enclosed....However DHL has no return envelope service....But they are accepting to send a package on COD(cash on delivery),,,MAy I know which courier did u avail? I hope we wont experience problem regarding the return of passport....

I have submitted the passport on may 30 at VAC LA for stamping at LA sonsulate .can i get back my passport by firday june 6th.i have my tickets booked for june 7th.can i make it ?
Does anyone know how long it takes to get back the passport.

Did you receive your passport? I am still waiting since it is approved yesterday morning. and there is no tracking for my mail until now.

April 10th: Received an email saying that I have a message (in my cic account there was a message saying application is accepted etc.)
April 11th: Received 1st status update (in my cic account, my application was open, no extra documents needed at this time etc.)
April 23rd: Received 2nd status update email (but there was no change in my CIC account)
April 24th: Received 3rd status update email (but there was no change in my CIC account)
May 19th: Sent an email to NY office to inquire about my application: CNGNYTRV-VRT@international.gc.ca
May 20th: Received a reply mail about my inquiry that told me that my application was in queue. (They asked me if I want to withdraw)
May 27th: Received an email saying that I have a message (in my cic account there was a message requesting my original passport)
May 28th: Posted my passport via USPS express mail.
May 28th: Received 4th status update email (in my cic account status updated: a decision has been reached)
May 29th: My passport is delivered in NY office around 11.30 am.
June 4th: Received 5th status update email (in my cic account, status updated:my application is approved and closed.)
June 5th: at 8.30 pm there is still no tracking for my express return mail. Waiting continues!!
