Like others have mentioned, it is possible to have a joint account, even if one person does not have a SIN (at least at some banks). It is also possible for a person without an SIN to open an individual account (I had one with RBC).
Have you listed each other as beneficiaries for your...
It is important to keep the original CSQ, because certain Québec governmental services require seeing the original. (And the original doesn't look too much like An Original, so I keep a post-it on it that says "original" so that I won't accidentally mistake it for a copy and mail it off...
Also, you are probably doing this anyways, but getting a good number of photos at the reception with you guys and your friends and family will be helpful later when you are putting together your application. They request photos of wedding-and-engagement related receptions, etc., as part of the...
We paid several months before we actually submitted the application. I would suggest you take the receipts as proof of payment when you travel, if you pay in advance.
We did not get state police checks and they were never requested (even though I have lived in several US states.) But some...
About this part:
2. I need to get my Fingerprint from the FBI and the PCC done - I plan on getting my fingerprints done when I fly back to the sates, same with the PCC. The website says it could take two months to get these done. Can I file for my PR without these forms to get the process...
Yes, if he was notified by email, the email includes links with instructions, including the guidelines (and size dimensions) for the photos requested, etc. Many important details about the process are in these links.
Good luck!

I also applied outland from within Canada (while here on a work permit then a visitor permit). I almost applied inland, though, because I thought that if you were in Canada you had to apply inland.
I just finished up the car importing process. There were a number of steps and the process is not too clear from the beginning (at least in cases where you land at an airport and your car is already in Canada), but each place I went to told me the next thing to do and finally I got my new Quebec...
I would suggest you contact your visa office to inquire. I had a minor error (eye color) which we corrected while landing. When landing, there was a point when the officer asked me to check and make sure all the information was correct on the COPR. I told them about the eye color, and they just...
Thanks boomerang11 and FeakySnucker. And I wish smooth landing experiences to everyone else too. :) It has been such a nice surprise after the difficulty of all the waiting time....
