Congrats, Hal! Still waiting with no news here, but glad to see something's moving somewhere. This thread's been awfully dead...

Thanks for the encouragement! The last 2 months have been AGONY, and I did not think I would be in such a state, but I guess with a job offer and everything, it is difficult NOT to be exited!

I'll go on monday to personally get the sticker in my passport, then head straight back to London to get my NEW SIN and healthcards, hopefully be able to do this in one day.

Then DENTIST on tuesday (not so yay) and perhaps off to work next week.

@ Rinnerz, you know you are not far down the line, we are pulling for ya!

Cheers
H.

LOL I love the way you put up your topic starting by "AND" ....I dont know how to explain but the line starting with AND shows that how important the subject is in your life , how it's influencing you and your emotions ...

And I have landed!!

A tad weird in Detroit, you get there in the morning, not too crowded, but still some crowding.

Went to the window, handed in the paper and the 2 pictures, and had to return at 2:30. That is when the drama began... I went back upstairs, and was told to wait downstairs in the reception area, and they started calliung numbers. Mine never was called so I started panicking.

In the end, it turned out I was sent back down by mistake! went back up, into their prison cell like interview rooms, handed my papers and wished good luck!

At the border in Port Huron the guys were TOTALLY bored so I brought 2 minutes of exitement, and tehre was NO probs at all, just answer the questions, and on my way!

So, I now start my new job TOMORROW!! SUPERSTOKED.

Cheers all for excellent help, and encouragement.
To Rinnerz and JMA, your turn is bound to come, keep your chin up, and it will be over soon.

Regards
Hal (who might visit again)

Congrats, Hal! So glad it went pretty smoothly.... I wish you the best as you start your new job!

okay so i was scrolling down the topics in this forum and thought to check in the december thread thinking that they too would be waiting for more PPRs to come in...........dont do it!!! if you look at their spreadsheet almost everyone has their PPR...a lot from Buffalo but there are other VOs....now I am depressed....

Yep. I stopped checking the other month-based threads a long time ago...

Yeah, back when I did it, I got discouraged too, so I had to stop looking because I decided I would rather not know.

Yeah, depressing is right. This last stage of waiting and wondering is unbearable. The last of our police certificates were dropped off May 3 and still nothing. *sigh*

YAPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PPR FOR JMA
THANKS GOD
AND THANKS ALL OF YOU GUYS
WITHOUT YOU IT WAS MISSION IMPOSIBLE
