    January 2023 - Citizenship Applications

Honestly, if you ask me, they can keep the tracker if I get the Oath invite.

After reading your signature I am a little curious why did IRCC request for your fingerprints so many times?

    January 2023 - Citizenship Applications

It's really strange that nothing progressed in my application other than we've got the citizenship test done. Do you have any advice what can I do? Do the ATIP may be?

    Vancouver Office Citizenship Applicants

It's crazy how inconsistent the processing times are for Vancouver applications...some files take 18 months to 2 years, some just plow through in what seemed like 6 months...

    January 2023 - Citizenship Applications

It's wild how processing time is so different for the Surrey office. Some cases took like almost 2 years, while your case was only like half a year.

    Hongkong Timeline in 2017

I got the letter requesting police certificate in December. Honestly I don't expect PPR "very soon", as CIC has no obligation to get it done that quickly. According to the processing time estimate on their website, they have 13 months to process since the day they received my application. If it...

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Don't feel discouraged, as Ottawa is still much quicker than the rest of the world. My wife's mycic still shows processing background checks and who knows how much longer it would take.

I used Regal World Transport System last April. I shipped out my items about 2+ weeks prior to my flight and they arrived just days after my flight landed. Pretty expertly done and very transparent on their prices. The agent also went through the packing list with me, just so I won't trigger any...

    BC MSP Coverage

You won't be allowed to income assistance. However, I think the agent over the phone meant if your sponsor's healthcare coverage through work covers spouses and common law partners, then your MSP premium can be attached to his account and potentially you won't have to pay your $75/month.

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Don't worry, most of the people who got approved are the ones with Ottawa VO. My wife's application (HKVO) is still at reviewing stage for most items.

How long does it take to assess my eligibility to sponsor?

Usually it takes about 3-4 weeks to get your AOR1 and sponsor approval. Just be patient.

You shall wait for the letter from HKVO to request for the police certificate and the address is written on that letter.

Ontario health card waiting time question

I think this is only a retrospective clause to ensure OHIP's benefits. Say someone recently registered and gets an OHIP card, but then left Ontario for 4 months and comes back only to receive medical treatments, then OHIP has the right to remove the coverage.

I think since December of 2016, they expected time for sponsor approval is removed from the estimated processing time page. However, since then it seems the sponsor approvals are all done in less than 30 days. So make sure to check both the sponsor and the applicant's email.

Just wait for the request to come, CIC/HKVO will notify you when they need it. In addition, you can't get a hk police certificate until you have received their request letter. So, just sit tight and wait.
