I sent my application July 29 & received Aug 1. I got really worried reading your posts last night and contacted my lawyer and he said he did not receive any thing so I called CIC today and they said they sent him an acknowldgment email on Aug/28th with a link to the book. but they did not...

I honestly do not know when it will be implemented. all I know is I would rather wait for 2 years then go through a RC, be reviewed by a CJ and play a guessing game for 3 years or more with a 90% possibility of rejection. :-[

I did not sign any forms yet. and I will not sign anything till I have 1095 days.

am from saudi arabia, and as a woman I cannot do any thing unless am there and also with a mans approval. I asked him if I can get a travel document and he said NO there is no such thing. now am really confused was this guy lying

I am really terrified of this whole thing. I thought I was going to be ok and apply. what do you think should do, should I go ahead and send my application (when I look at the CIC webpage it says that you can apply but a CJ will make the decision on your application) its not fraud or anything...

I should be good to apply in 3 weeks too. my lawyer is saying I can apply now as he is sure the law will be passed and take effect by next week. I`m not sure what to do. what do you guys think :(
