COPR and coronavirus

I'm exactly in the same situation. Authorization letter issued by Ottawa on October 1, 2020.From my GCKey account previously issued CoPR/PRV numbers got removed. Status changed from Approved to Submitted. in AL, new CoPR/PRV document numbers and extended validity dates are mentioned. No reply to my webforms or email from IRCC. Since Oct 1, 2020 I'm waiting. AL is valid till Dec 2, 2020 and I wish to travel within next 2 weeks. I'm worried that airlines won't allow boarding since my extension dates and new document numbers are not yet updated (electronically) in IRCC system

Apart from a financial and time loss, It's mentally very disturbing. Since I was with my family(small kids) it was also physically, really exhausting for all.

Yes, after few sleepless nights waiting for an authorisation, this was the worst thing to happen. Shocking part is that Air India person told me that after making a call to ASCI, they have been able to send few people with an authorisation and deny others. So it's a lottery system.

Maybe raise another web form asking for the same? Wait a week or so to see if there is an update in the system?

I am not really sure but may be the new COPR details needed to be reflected in GCKey. Since the airline office called a Canadian number and he says it is still in expired state could be due to your GCKey still not updated with the latest information. May be call IRCC and then find out when the new COPR details will be reflected in the GCKey.

Hey i understand that you are in UAE. Did you get an AL to travel or a new stamping in the passport?

@whyCorona This is what I was talking about in another reply. Authorization letter is valid until October 31st and person is being denied boarding. By the time they'll be aware of these letters, it will expire.

But one person had posted his successful landing experience using AL via Air India. This seems to be case of file not getting updated on CIC account which eventually caused denial in boarding. Whole process is not perfectly laid out prior to issuing ALs. Not sure why they requested for remeds if they are going to issue ALs. Instead they should re-stamp the passport with one year validity of CoPR.

I don't know why the hell IRCC send me an authorisation, if they didn't update in their system. First asking me for Re-medicals and then travel authorization letter but no update in my GC key account. It seems they are playing games with us.

I got AL after several follow ups for many months. But now I have no update on my GCkey account regarding extended validity issued on my application

Yes sure, I will be going to Delhi Airport again today to get information from ticketing counter, that why they have put it as NO SHOW, whereas I was there for approximately 6 hours, and they noted down our passports and we signed at Exit counter.

Few questions:

1) Did you receive the 4 pointer email and responded to it? Or raise any ready to travel webform with supporting documents?
2) What is the latest status of your application on CIC account?

I have a belief that you might receive a PPR request for new CoPR if your application status is showing In Progress or Submitted on CIC profile. Stay positive.

No my file was re opened in the last week of September and all old details were removed. After that next day I got a medical request.
Even after getting an authorisation letter, my file is still showing submitted and in progress. No new COPR details added yet.
