Yes, my file is also with New Delhi VO. I submitted the medical results in End of November 2019. It shows background check in progress. I don't know why its taking so long for them.
Word of advice, if your family was residing outside of Canada when they landed, please update their address to the current Canadian address so CIC can mail out the initial PR Card. My mother landed back on Feb 9th from New York. As per the status tool on cic's website its about 13 days to issue the card, I sent in a web form to inquire why she has yet to receive her card and was told it is because there is no Canadian address on file. I find this so hard to believe as a Canadian address is needed to complete the application for PR and it was asked and confirmed by the border agent. My question back to them was if I had not reached out to them, how were we to know this information is required. smh..
may I know how long it took to contact you for additional test?? I mean how many days after the initial exam.
My mother was sick at the time of initial medical, cough and cold so she couldn’t finish sputum test as per their expectation then they gave appointment for next week on the same day. Also for the chest X-ray, doctor told her to come in Feb. again because they see something which they want to confirm. So if u see dates in my initial post it’s 2 months from initial exam. Now I am still waiting for results from regional medical office Delhi.
Yeah I do - but was not 6 months they gave us the 3 months... But went well eventually - they just have to ensure that there's not much change in 3 months or so... To be honest nothing to worry abt this - it will be alright!
