Does that mean your ecas status went from "application received" to "Decision Made" and you never saw "In process" ?

So far it looks like its faster for parents who are already here in Canada. I could be wrong though as each case is unique.

Hi, Does anyone know if having syphilis makes the applicant medically inadmissible. I have looked around but it is not very clear. Applicant is waiting to see the specialist to get it treated but is in waiting. Any help will be appreciated!
You don’t need a specialist to treat syphilis you need penicillin. If the person has longterm syphilis yes that could be an issue for medical inadmissibility.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5772-application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html

I read the guide 5772 but I really skipped the part for that particular form.

Such important info should be visible in guide 5772 and other income related topic, not just mentioned in an “optional form”. Even do a full website search you can hardly find it mentioned on CIC website. (Yes, only on one form for another category and op561, but do you think that’s what a general public should do?)

I can recall someone mentioned even CIC call Centre agent told him regular EI counts, and the twitter response also mentioned that we look at line 150 of your NOA. That’s it.

I just wanna say that my files haven’t not been processed so the updated documents I just sent with a Xpresspost might still be merged into my original application since I have legit reason to update my file (new addition to my family). But for those people who might be rejected because of this kind of obscure info it’s very unfair.
EI doesn’t count unless it is for maternity leave.
