Guys so we got AOR today my husband the sponsor got a GCkey account..so is that mean all the info they ask in linking the account is about him?

Hello Everyone,

I just received the file number for my husband we applied on 7th Nov 2018, application recieved on 11th Nov 2018 and 16 Jan 2019 is the date we received our file Number.

I have couple of questions:
1) What is the next step after getting the file number? Do they ask for finger prints or medical request and how long do they take to send you the next request??

2) My husband is currently in Dubai and he will be staying their for 3 months if we receive a request for finger prints or his medical would he able to perform it by staying in Dubai or he has to go back to pakistan to get it done??

Yup they will approve the sponsor first then you, the Principal Applicant. If you have your AOR, ask him to link that number to his GCKey account so you can keep track of the progress. They will request what they need from you from there and reach out via email/sometimes regular mail. Now you're about to go through the hardest part...waiting

Hi guys.

November 23 applicant here but I am scared that our application might be sent back to us because in IMM 5406, we have put MARRIED-NOT PHYSICALLY PRESENT by mistake instead of MARRIED-PHYSICALLY PRESENT. Our fault that we didn't double check the guidelines because we thought it means not physically together at present time. We're very stupid and careless I know

It's so stressful and draining. Another 2-3months wasted in case they send it back to us. But I'm praying that they wont because we have all our proofs that we're both physically present in our wedding and our relationship is genuine.

As long as your checklist is complete,they will not return the package and start processing..your error answer comes into consideration at some point of processing..before that you can send a new form with the error corrected along with a cover letter and a detailed explanation..hopefully that will solve the issue..

Well I received a response to my web form when I re-submitted the schedule A, and they responded to me with an application number. I was successfully able to link the application with GCKey even though we didn't receive an AOR. We were given the UCI as well.
Is the review of eligibility updated when you receive the AOR or is that the next step after?

Hi Guys,
my application received on 7th Nov 2018. I got AOR on 16 Jan 2019. link my application paper application online today.

Did anyone know how long from there it take for medical exam. thanks and best of luck for all for you

Try 2 for number of people in the application if it’s just you and your spouse

this worked and i was able to link application. Thanks for the help.
