November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

We received notice that our application was received on Nov 14/2018 however still did not receive our AOR1. Anyway, it's just as well as I went sleuthing on these forums and I found out on IMM 5669, they require hand signature despite on the actual form it saying only an electronic siggy is required. We promptly sent a hand-signed copy via webform on Dec 29/2018 telling them about the misunderstanding...they confirmed that they received the forms and that it's been forwarded to the appropriate peoples. So far we haven't received any other email....hopefully no news is good news! o_o

If you're asking for the webform link, here it is:

If you don't have a Client ID number (UCI) yet, you can use the receipt number from your initial payment for the sponsorship fees. I believe they just need this information to trace you more easily but don't quote me on that as I don't work for them!

I sent out my application for my husband on November 9. Received November 19. So far nothing yet just fingers crossed. He is Outland in Sweden.

I am guessing probably it is save to do same to be on the safe side. I as you also followed the instruction that a physical signature was not required. But are applications being returned cos of this?

I have no idea, honestly. I read on the forums somewhere that they "could" consider the application as incomplete if the signature is missing and as such will return it to you to edit it. I haven't received anything back yet so I'm hoping it was successful.

Mexico is notoriously slow. They are calling jan and feb applicants from 2018 for interviews for end of jan. Bank on about 12 months of processing. Join Dominican Spouses on facebook. Great support there!!! You can also look up the mexico vo thread which is where the app will be processes

I emailed the form and got reply saying that they are unable to find information that she is my representative for principal applicant. When I've done the form i have chosen amend documents. Is there anything that i need to know?

If you're talking about "Type of application/enquiry (required)" you need to choose Sponsorship and then choose inland/outland depending on what you're doing. My husband told me he did this anyway.

On the other hand when I'm trying to to put sponsorship doesn't allowed me to move forward because I need the uci or application number which I don't have
