Ecase shows our application was received on Sep 14th but we have not received AOR yet...Should we call and ask?

Hey everyone,
I submitted my application and have the number but i'm wondering what the AOR is?

Also, I just received an email requesting the death certificate for my grandfather (I am sponsoring my grandma), has anyone else had to submit this? When it comes to providing a translated document, is everyone submitting the requirements as per CIC website? Our sponsorship country (Israel) is saying that we need to have the certificate signed by the Can embassy in TLV and something else in Jerusalem.

I'm on vacation with limited access

Hello everyone! Just need some advice. Can my wife sponsor her parents if we had just sponsor our daughter recently? Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi
I first applied for my parents last year and didn't make the draw. I made it this year and qualify based on previous 3 years income (2015, 2016 and 2017). We had a baby and I am on leave so my income will not meet the cut off if CIC were to look at 2018 income. I received my AOR recently and was hoping that SA is done soon, otherwise does anyone know if your 2018 income will be checked and how mat leave period is treated for income criteria.
Thanks

Requested: police certificate from China and Medical exam request.

I need help from experts. ;)

We got the police certificate from the notarized office in China. There is no expiry date on the police certificate. However, when I tried to upload to CIC My Account. The expiry date information is mandatory to key in though. Anyone has the same experience as me? What is the solution?

Thank you!

PCC is usually good for 6 months. Although it does not have an expiry date, CIC will not accept it if you submit it more than 6 months after the date of issue. So, add 6 months to the PCC issued date and out it down as expiry date. CIC will know this, as they have dealt with it several times before.

They may or may not asked to see your 2018 NOA unless they have reasons to believe that you may not meet the LICO in that year. I have not seen a case where CIC asked to see the 4th NOA. They process SA based on the information you already provided.

By the way, when you calculate your income, make sure you add EI parental income and Canada child benefit. Federal and provincial child benefits can add up to $6,000 depending on your combined income. CCB is not government assistance, as it is named "benefits" just like tax benefits. They used to have child tax credit for income tax purpose. But, it was replaced by CCB.

Short answer is "yes". As long as you meet the low income cut-off (LICO), you can sponsor your parents or grandparents. As per what you said, I'm assuming you have 3 people in your household. So, if your wife's income meets the LICO for 5 people (3 of you + 2 grandparents), then she can sponsor her parents. You can also co-sign for her if her income along does not meet LICO.
