You got AOR in back in September and ECAS is showing “In Process”? Is that what you meant? If that’s the case, I wouldn’t worry about it. The email you get from CIC with AOR is all that you need. The next step is SA.

If you meant why it’s taking so long to get SA, then there’re quite a few possibilities - checking if you have sponsored anyone before, if your previously sponsored people are receiving any government assistance to name a few. Those checks take a while to complete. If you look at the spreadsheet Yulia made, you will see that some people had to wait for over 6 months to get SA. So, your application is not the only one taking a bit longer. Besides, it is the holiday season and it’s not unsual for government employees to take vacations. So, it’ll slow down a bit until late January or early February 2019.

Question: i got a request for medical sent to me couple days ago however i only see the form for my Mother which is the principle applicant and not my Father (dependent). Does anyone know how that works?

Unless its a critical issue it shouldnt matter. Remeber the whole point is they dont want dependency on the health system here. So as long this isnt critical i wouldnt be concerned

Thanks @YULIA-2016 . My parents got medical and PCC request. They have scheduled medical next week Thursday and have appointment for PCC next week Monday. If I want to sent PCC via email too (in addition to uploading in cic portal), I am not sure where to send. The message in cic says "reply to this email" and alao asks for "original PCC"

After you login, on the home page, check under ‘view your submitted applications’. You’ll see something like ‘add (link) your application...’. It is not like a button but more like a hyperlink. Search on the page for ‘add’ or ‘link’, you can find it.

Thank you. So I checked my (I am the Sponsor) My account Gc key. It display's Submit applications link. I think because I got AOR 3 days back, so it is not showing 'View your submitted applications' link. Am I correct?
Or am I missing anything? Also should I create Principal applicants account to check status? Please help.

It is better to create gc key account with details of the principal applicant. And yes sometimes there is delay between when you get aor and when you can see application online.
