Finally AOR wait is over. It was bit dramatic as I was able to see my application received since Dec 5th on ECAS with no communication.

I am second round applicant row 234 in SS

AOR Received:
Dec 12th 2018

And the new wait begins for Sponsor Approval

Hi
I finally got my first response from CPC over email. They've sent me a file no. and ecase says application received September 17. The words "Acknowledgement of Receipt" do not appear in the email, so not sure if this is an AOR? I also tried the 5 linking attempts today that haven't worked.
@YULIA-2016 Can you please update the sheet, file number. received December 12.
Thanks
Marya

Hi - I have applied earlier in the year to sponsor my parents, sent my application in May and received AOR end of July. No other communication was received. I have since been checking ECAS from time to time and saw status go from application received to In Process. Then last week I noticed the sponsorship application went back to application received while the permanent residence application stayed at In Process. Then I checked today again and now both say application received. Feels like a step backward, no? Has anyone seen this happen before? Not sure what's going on....

Appreciate your thoughts

Hi Yulia,

Do you have any idea how long it takes to get PPR after medicals are done? Ottawa is the VO

I checked my cic account, it does not say anything. it says : Application Received.
I think you are looking on Ecas and not CIC account?

In CIC account there is 2 Columns of your application: 1 is "Application Step" and next to it is "Current Status"

Hello Friends,

Finally today I received the AOR in my email. So happy.
However, in the AOR letter they mention about Important information about using a Representative, the IMM 5476 form. My parents have filled all the forms on their own and have NOT used a Representative. That is why they have not filled the IMM 5476 form with the package.
Is this the standard letter that they send to everyone? Is it mandatory to fill the that form? Please suggest.

They just assumed all forms are filled by the sponsor. But if your parents are capable to handle such stuff, then no need to worry about it.

If you ever want to call or write to find out about your parents application, they have to fill this form for privacy reasons.

Anyone from India who has applied for PCC using Passport seva online service? I am looking at that one for my parents and cannot figure out the reason for PCC, is it Immigration or Residence permit?
