@YULIA-2016 . Hello, You may remember, I have submitted two duplicate forms when this Jan 2018 was open, and sent an explanation as I don't have last name on the passport etc. My file was received on 29 Aug, 2018 and haven't received anything from CIC yet. I am not able to check anything on ECAS, through My UCI or Client Id or with the applicant information. However, I just gave a try to connect the GC key and it got linked. It does say my file no. F******** and there is no X in it. I have tried to connect with the File no. removing X front of it and got it connected.

Under eligibility, " It says - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility."

I am not sure if they have accepted my application or not to process or it is standard. If you or any expert can shed some light on it, that would be great.

Thanks
its standard so try E-case again File # F000... YOUR last name /like in application/, DOB and etc

I am in Canada since 2016 July. I meet the minimum income requirement for 2017 and 2018. But since I was half of the year in 2016, I dont meet the minimum requirement for the year 2016. Is there any other way that I can still apply for the 2019 parent sponsorship?
you can take spouse like co-signer

Hi Yulia,
Please update the SS. Applicant status- DECISION MADE (11/20/18)
I still coudn't link the application to GC account. (i dont know what's wrong)

Anyway is anybody knows what's next after decision made? Do they send a letter through mail to the sponsor or to the applicant for the PPR?
LVO is Ottawa.
I dont know who's gonna receive a letter me (sponsor) or my mom (applicant)she's in home country right now.
thanks in advance for the response.

Hi All,

I would like to know If I could sponsor my parents in 2018. The only concern I have is my 3 year stay in Canada.

I became a PR on July 8th 2015 and I started working on July 13th 2015 with a annual salary $ 85000 (So 2015 earning was around $ 42000). I'm single and no dependant partner.

I still have this job and would like to know if I could apply for my mum and dad in 2018. I will have 3 T4's by end of February 2018 and I would complete 3 years only by July 2018.

Reason i'm getting my parents : We are three siblings all in 3 different countries ( US, UK and Canada)My parents are getting old, and believe me, when I get a call from home, say at 11am Canada time which is midnight in India, I get a mini heart attack, its that anxiety. I think its a price you pay for immigrating but I like o have my parents here.

Please suggest!
CIC accepts NOA not T4s. To sponsor your parents you should have 205, 2016 & 2017 income as per LICO table.

@YULIA-2016
ECAS status is changed to "Decision Made" on 21-Nov-2018, but when I clicked on it, it says "Medical received".
I already have linked the file to CIC account. When I logged in through that, it still says "Background check is in progress".

Any idea ??
all good, just check email for PPR

I was able to check this morning in ECAS today using Receipt no and removed X, with the File no as well. No AOR yet, but looks they have accepted. What you think? @YULIA-2016
I don't know your data, you are not in SS

my mothers application was recieved on May 24 and there is no update after that. The only update on ecas is they received the application. its been almost 6 months. Any thoughts anyone ?

not even AOR email?
We got the AOR email and the acas status says they received the application on May 24. but there is no update after that on ecas or email, they havent asked for any additional paperwork, nothing...its been 6 months since they received the application

its standard so try E-case again File # F000... YOUR last name /like in application/, DOB and etc
To match the application, is the family name of sponsor used or of applicant?
My MIL keeps her maiden name. (So do I, it's normal from where I come from)
So she and my husband has different family name.
