Yes, you did missed me, lol. I am on 440 since feb-24@Reddiered07 @at4446 @Rob13 @Aarti123 @Mayur_M here's wholeheartedly hoping and wishing that all of you get ITA today
Did I miss any of the others waiting for long-time on 440? Please tag them to the wish!
@abhishek_89 need your official prediction man, and please give a real hopeful one
I think that also includes family members. Not just people who get ITA.Out of curiosity, according to the Canada Immigration Plan for 2018-2020, Canada wants 250k immigrants from the fed level programs. That's 83k per year and nearly 7000 per month to fill the numbers. So far IRCC draws score that takes in half that amount, plus not 100% of those receive an ITA will actually land.
I don't know how serious the 250k number is, but if it is to be followed through, shouldn't we see lower scores that gets more and more people invited in the coming months?
Ah, makes sense.I think that also includes family members. Not just people who get ITA.
Yeah....I am one of the few new entrants and definitely silent since we are awaiting the drawMay be new entrants are either few or silent hope the former!
They have to consider the number of applicants per ITA. Let's say, they consider the average of 2 applicants per ITA, since a lot of people apply with their family.Out of curiosity, according to the Canada Immigration Plan for 2018-2020, Canada wants 250k immigrants from the fed level programs. So true, I had to spent sleepless nights and work my butt off to get a band 8 in writing.FYI, the last bit on Native English speakers struggling to get a 7.0 ain't true - i got an 8 in Writing on my first attempt (not a native speaker obviously). Having said that, I would add that the way they score it ain't easy. It's pretty strict.
They mark coherence based on both language and structure.
Me too a bit. I read they had some ministerial shuffle earlier last week...Now I am anxious no draw will take place today.
