I am sure he also received AOR when you did, maybe his email got deleted or did not make it through to you somehow. You are only able to see your application online when it has been accepted and entered and that is the AOR process. Good luck to you both.
Thank you..
That's what i thought, but in my case my ecas said that they sent me an email ...

I think you should call them to inquire, since there is some information online for him, they should be able to tell you something. Also, I know that when they need to return an application in a "family application package" they always return all and ask you to resend all back once corrected. Since yours was processed, I assume his was too.

I got my AOR last night. I was Oct 16 applicant (Application received on Oct 16). I read tons of panic and anxiety on this forum, but simply there is no need to panic or resend the application yet. I start worrying myself to be honest, but they are still working hard on all the application, I guess just too many of us applied on Oct 16.

Hi, as mentioned numerous times before, receiving AOR does not mean that we filled the forms correctly. They only do basic completeness checks in Sydney and as long as all the questions are answered, signed and dated, they send out the AOR.

The local case processing center would be the judge of whether the information we provided is satisfactory and accurate or not.

Thanks @razerblade. How about putting NA for contact information that you really don't know or can't have? Do you think the application might be returned for that reason?

For all the october 16 applicants who still haven't received an AOR:
I just got off the phone with CIC and was told that my application might have been returned or something as they can't find it in their system. I am so frustrated and anxious to see what happens, I wish at least they had a better system to track the application status. But nevertheless, be patient and all will be good. Still hoping to get an AOR. It will be a nightmare to resend your applications.

Some people also received the same information from the call centre and still received AOR days later. I don't believe the agents as your application may still be on queue to be entered.

Please take what that agent told you with a big grain of salt as they don't have access to such information. They are only there to provide general information and escalate certain issues.

As long as you answered all the questions, signed, dated, and provided all requested supporting documents and forms, you will get AOR without issues. Personally, I don't think putting "NA" will stop them from sending the AOR.

Thank you for your feedback and I will stay patient and optimistic. After all there is not a lot we can do

I agree, from the looks of it it sounded like they were almost 100% clueless because of a lack of intersystemic communication.

hello could you add my time line?
  1. We started processing your application on November 29, 2017. Muby
