Any update on wife
Nope. No changes for @WifeOfUSProgrammer as of this morning. Still no LPP after BG complete + test complete. Waiting on second set of GCMS from CBSA. I don't expect to see anything interesting in them.

I received the Oath invitation letter today- April 29th, 2025- 12:21pm ET (Primary office: Vancouver; secondary: Sydney; event office: Scarborough)
Oath ceremony-May 9th, 2025
Citizenship test & background completed: Dec 20, 2024 (no update since then; but work was going on in the background-I could see that in the GCMS notes)
Application submitted: October 8,2024
AOR: October 23,2024
I hope it's not a fluke. No idea when LPP was completed, it was not started as of the easter holiday, and I never had access to the tracker. I was actually planning to wait till the original 7 month timeline ended for me-May 8th to reach out to IRCC again.

Congratulations.

The tracker url is this: https://tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login

If you are using this https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login, you will get the technical error message

finally congrats

My 7 months from AOR is almost completed, while BG is still in progress. Are there any steps that I should take to expedite the process? Calling IRCC is pointless, as they just say wait. Last CBSA notes says "Pending Results" from CSIS screening.

I don't think there is anything you can do when it's your background check that is pending. However, once you pass the processing time, you should probably call + fill out a webform.

Anyone else not have there new mp contact details yet or is just me ?

https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en

It's all very new. They do have new MP's names etc (I checked one). Addresses of offices. But honestly it'll be at least a few weeks before they get their offices working smoothly on constituent matters.

(Incumbent MPs who were returned to parliament will likely be working sooner, but don't expect it to be immediate)

timeline:
Application submitted: Oct 8,2024
AOR: oct 23,2024
Test invite: Dec 13, 2024
Background completed: Dec 13, 2024
Test taken: Dec 20, 2024
LPP: not sure of date-but pending for 4 months- no tracker access
Oath letter: April 29,2025
Oath ceremony:May 9,2025

Just spoke to ircc agent, nothing required from me still stuck on lpp , it says not started on their end but apparently that does not mean that the file is not being worked on as it goes from not started to complete directly

Also asked if elections had something to cause pauses in applications and she said nope, files were still being worked on elections had nothing to do with ircc

So last officer note was in march for me apparently and thats is… perfect

Can’t wait for my cbsa and ircc gcm notes to come
