The reason is that Federal will verify information you provided to them with those provided to OINP and they both shall match. If it doesn't then your case and either be delayed or even result in rejection.
And I believe this is one of the reasons why PNP candidates have longer processing time than FSW as this is an additional step to assess the eligibility.

As per my understanding, for OINP, you should include all work experience in the last 10 years and provide documentation for all. For the 8 months work you had, did you mention it under Personal Activities? If yes, there is a possibility OINP will ask you for some documents regarding that work.

In the EE (or eAPR), you only need to provide reference letter for work experience under Work History.
Hello iamxty,
No I did not mention that job under Personal Activity. What do you think ?
Thank you !!

Your personal activity should not have any gap within the last 10 years. So what did you enter for that 8 months work you had?

There are some nominated candidates who only provided those reference letters for job for which they are claiming points. But yes you are obliged to mention the 10 years experience but in EE profile you just have to mention that experience you are claiming points for.

In addition, if you do not have reference letters for those work experience, you can provide any proof that you had that work like bank statement where salary was credited, tax assessment, pay slips, otherwise, write an LOE if you can't give any document.

my POF goes like this,

i took 6000CAD from my mothers bank account and transferred them to my Salary account while she wrote me an affidavit to use this amount as a gift deed (got that notarized)
i had around 5000CAD (my own savings) in my Salary account already.

then i also have a pension account opened by my current firm, which after deduction of all the taxes, values at 2140CAD

so thats total of 13140CAD for me as a single applicant.

Documents i uploaded for POF were:

Mothers Bank Account Statement showing the Cheque Transfer Number
Affidavit from mother (notarized one)
My own Salary Account's Bank Statement
My own Pension Account's Statement, stating the %deduction if i withdraw those funds immediately.

Hope this helps and clear up things for someone here.

What other changes do you think we need to let both IRCC and OINP know? For example by the time I get my nomination I might be moving to another country and also my wife might be getting a new passport. Should I let OINP know about this after nomination? Or is it ok that I just update these details on my EE profile before the ITA comes thro? None of the changes affect my CRS score in any way.
Read CIC website with Changes in Circumstances and OINP application guidance for more details.

Both have some common and some separate requirements.

Correct me if am wrong, though it states to mention all the work experience you gathered. You can still mention the work experience for which you can claim experience. CIC will verify with the document we provide and cross-check with the company if we had worked for mentioned years.

Mentioning the experience from which you won't claim points and for which you don't have any documents can be neglected and it will cause delay in processing the application during BGC.

No 4th is just to compensate fewer days of Feb and they basically asked for minimum 180 days Statements.

So anything above 180 days will be fine.

Good Luck!
Thanks for your response. But please I need one more clarification from you. Please don't ignore me. I really need to submit these documents tomorrow.

From their additional request as shown below:
"Settlement Funds

OINP requires that you demonstrate a minimum level of savings/income (unencumbered and readily transferable in a convertible currency) to support yourself and your dependent(s). The minimum amount of funds is based on family size in accordance with the Low Income Cut-Offs (LICO), see link for details: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

- If you have a personal bank account(s) with a standing/final balance that meets or exceeds the LICO. Please provide:

· Copies of your Overseas bank statements for six months from February 1, 2017 to August 4, 2017",

they didn't ask me to update my account. They only asked for another 6 months statement of account. Do you think I am worrying so much trying to get a gift deed from spouse to boost my account? Should I just print what they asked for and submit?

Besides i submitted statement from December to July and they are asking for February to August. I wonder why they asking for another statement.

Secondly, if you suggest i update, I have Fixed Deposit. Do u suggest I use Fixed Deposit or Gift Deed from my husband?

Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response. Other people's opinion will be appreciated too.

Hello iamxty.
I think personal activity is filled in after we get ITA , right ?
to clarify. I didnt get an ITA yet. my case is still in assessmeng.
Here is the scenario.
in EE I have listed two jobs experiences
job A :with noc 2282 that is my primary noc for which Im claiming points.
job B: a technician . Im not claiming points for this and in spite that I have listed it.
between the two jobs there is 8 months gap of an other job I did not mention in both EE profile and OINP appilication.
now let's suppose I got nomination. I am aware that I must list that 8months job in my personal history when submitting my eAPR even though I am not claiming points for it.
question 1: when an officer is processing my application, isn't he for example going to ask me why I did not include that job in my Oinp application?
question2: are proves required for jobs listed in personal history which are not in work history ?
Thank you so very much, I sure hope to get a response from you or any experienced memeber.
Best Regards.

hello iamxty.
Now I see what you neant by personal activities.
I forgot to fill in that section before submtting my OINP Application.
the 8 months job was volunteer which I did not include.
I travelled 5 times to europe in the last 5years for pleasure which I did not include either and they can see that from the visas on my passport.
Could this impact my appilcation somehow, or they will just ask me to provide the missing information details?
I sure to get a response from you. I do not know how I missed that part.
Best Regards.

Hi guys, please someone should respond to my query. I am in desperate need of answers.

I got this additional request:

If you have a personal bank account(s) with a standing/final balance that meets or exceeds the LICO. Please provide:

· Copies of your Overseas bank statements for six months from February 1, 2017 to August 4, 2017.

My question is, since they didn't ask for an update of my statement of account, should i just print the same statement i submitted and submit again?

OR

Should I update my account by adding more money before submitting? Why I am thinking of updating is because my local currency recently depreciated against Canadian dollar.

I am confused because they didn't ask for an update of the statement. They only asked for copies.

Please help me. I need suggestions. I have less days to respond to them. I really don't know what to do. Please my people don't ignore me this time.
