Application Submitted: November 7th, 2023.
Additional Documents Requested: Feb 7th
Additional Documents Submitted: March 3rd
AOR: April 24th
Biometric Request: April 26th

I am not sure remaining steps how long will takes for Quebec residences

PGP is a very slow process you only sent additional docs on Dec 24 which may as well been January 6th.

no There is only one application for my father and mother, now I understand why you think I have 2 application. The date I said April 2024 is based on date I received AOR and linked the application to my account. Yo you 're right I initially sent document late 2023

I got a postal mail dated Jan 22nd to submit PCC. Mail has application number starting with F****.

I tried many different times to link my application to GC Key account but not getting success.

make sure you add yourself and your wife if she is co-signer in number of people while linking the account.

Exactly same as you. I submitted application on July 26. Got ADR on Dec 24. Submitted ADR on Dec 24. No news since then. We are together in this boat.

Hello Everyone,
Here is the timeline of my parents' application.

Application Submitted - July 06, 2024
Additional Documents Request - Oct 07, 2024
AOR + PCC Request (Received through Mail) - December 23, 2023 (Date on Letter - November 28, 2024)
PCC Submitted - Jan 19, 2025
Biometrics Request - Feb 20, 2025
Biometrics Submitted - Feb 25, 2025
Sponsor Eligibility (Email Received) - Feb 26, 2025
RPRF Paid - March 02, 2025

With the help of the information from this thread, I was finally able to link the application to my GCkey account. (I was entering wrong number of people)

But I was never able to create the Client Application Status account.

I just submitted PCC through personal email, and received an automatic reply. It could be anyone's email, in the AOR letter it mentions to submit a valid email so I confirmed the email for communications in the email body. Previously additional documents were submitted the same way and it was processed, so hoping for the same with PCC.

To which email did you sent the PCC ? I am trying to send to the email mentioned in the AOR + PCC request letter ( IRCC.CPCMParentsandGrandparents-Parentsetgrands-parentsCTDM.IRCC [at] cic.gc.ca ) but the email is bouncing/delivery is failing, tried multiple times.
Any help is highly appreciated.

hi friends.. So, we applied on 29th July and till now nothing not even ADR, I understand from Senior members in the forum that it could take up to 3+ years.
I have made my peace with that and in light of current political scenario have lost all hopes of them ever getting the PR!

Today, I come here to seek advise on the extension of Visitor Record. We have already gotten the first extension,last year, expiring towards the end of April.
What reasons could I give while applying for the second extension? I don't have any concrete reasons a part from like we do not want to leave just now due to my job obligations, want to finish the PR formalities while being in Canada of which some have already been strated like application tot he home country consulate here in Canada for the PCC. Can I give this as a reason?
Also, I am going through an unofficial separation meaning, Can I include that as well that like they are emotionally supporting me through these difficult times.

Hi @steaky Thanks. Sorry, I should have included that in my question.. No, they cannot travel alone out of Canada. I have not declared it in the previous extension reason but my father has become wheel chair bound after coming here(It had already started before coming here and was eventually gonna happen). My mother alone cannot take care of him.
Ideally, we should be in our home country for his treatment but as they cannot be by themselves, my job obligation and the separation battle going on, I am not in a position to leave Canada at the moment.
I was hoping to be done with the Separation and the PR and then we would go back in peace with me taking a few months leave like paid and unpaid to take care of him! Now that I have given up on the PR, just waiting for my separation to be finalized - Divorce and getting the PCC from here as it is easier here.
And another reason, just struck me, I am from India the Air Quality Index had been in news for the wrong reasons(it was a few months ago), it has improved now but still far away from Canada, may be I can use that too?!
I don't mind telling the real reasons but on the fence between how much is too much and at the same time too little to get approved!
Side note: I am the only one they have, cannot seek help from relatives, friends etc..
