Hi @steaky Thanks. Sorry, I should have included that in my question.. No, they cannot travel alone out of Canada. I have not declared it in the previous extension reason but my father has become wheel chair bound after coming here(It had already started before coming here and was eventually gonna happen). My mother alone cannot take care of him.
Ideally, we should be in our home country for his treatment but as they cannot be by themselves, my job obligation and the separation battle going on, I am not in a position to leave Canada at the moment.
I was hoping to be done with the Separation and the PR and then we would go back in peace with me taking a few months leave like paid and unpaid to take care of him! Now that I have given up on the PR, just waiting for my separation to be finalized - Divorce and getting the PCC from here as it is easier here.
And another reason, just struck me, I am from India the Air Quality Index had been in news for the wrong reasons(it was a few months ago), it has improved now but still far away from Canada, may be I can use that too?!
I don't mind telling the real reasons but on the fence between how much is too much and at the same time too little to get approved!
Side note: I am the only one they have, cannot seek help from relatives, friends

This is tough because you would need to prove that he will not be a drain on Canadian healthcare which also could mean he is medically inadmissible. They should have really applied for a supervisa if they wanted to visit for a longer period. Although he may have had difficulty getting supervisa insurance so would also not have been able to extend his visit for that reason. All you can do is try but not sure it is realistic to keep extending their normal visit visa multiple times. How long have they been visiting Canada already? AQI not a valid reason especially given currently not bad.

Concur with @canuck78 said in the post above. Sooner or later, you need to find a nursing home to take care of them in India.

For a visitor Visa he should not be a drain becasue I am taking care of all the expenses. Even Insurnace does not cover pre-existing so he is not a drain even on them. Both Canada and the Insurance are making money off of them when they live here they are contributing to the economoy(even though I am paying for it, if they were in India, I would be sending that money to India) and the Insurance gets premium and covers practically nothing. I have been paying taxes for more than 12 years now but they see my parents as a drain.. Way to go but that's how it is I guess.
Anyways to answer @canuck78 's question -First they stayed for 6 months, we got an extension of 1 year which is coming to an end in end of April 2025, so 18 months in April 2025
Let me know the reasons that I can use to apply for the extension. Thank you.

I'm not sure it's appropriate for any of us here to tell you which reasons to use. You can use any reasons and generally it's best to be as honest as possible about those reasons. However it sounds like you are looking for advice on what reasons to extend will give you the highest chances of success. If that is the case then may be best to chat with a lawyer.

Using limited healthcare services while a visitor can still be considered a drain on the healthcare system. Insurance coverage is for an emergency so you are paying a premium in case they need emergency care. Even PGP does have a medical inadmissabiltiy clause and unless you are paying millions in taxes every year you would have unlikely paid into the system enough to cover you, your dependents and your parents. PGP is viewed as a humanitarian program for a reason it very rarely a program that provides overall economic benefit and can actually cost a lot because we are typically talking about seniors who will never work or pay taxes. You should certainly apply for an extension but you also need a plan B if the extension gets denied or PGP does. You also need to assess whether you have the funds to cover healthcare costs related to care of preexisting conditions or even emergency care if insurance no longer will provide coverage. Healthcare for the chronically ill but especially for seniors can get expensive even when you have provincial healthcare.

Next time, you should really consider applying super visa for them (being their representative). Regular visitor visa wouldn't work because they have no self income and you are taking care of all the expenses.
