Hi, Anyone with no update?
I have submitted the application on Aug 2 and didn't hear back anything yet.
Called CIC multiple time, they just say they are reviewing it and gave me temporary application number starting with XF...
Don't know why its taking that long. Anyone in same boat?

Got an email from IRCC requesting Schedule A (5669) for my inlaws... they want not just the last 10 years but from the age of 18!

Schedule A: You are required to submit a Schedule A Background/Declaration (IMM5669). You
must provide the following detailed information FROM THE AGE OF 18: your education, personal history,
membership or association with organizations, government positions, military and/or paramilitary service and
addresses. FAILURE TO PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION MAY DELAY THE PROCESSING OF YOUR APPLICATION.
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/eimm5669e.pdf

My inlaws are almost 60... this is going to be ridiculous to fill.
I had to do the same for my parents, they are almost 57. The officer requested for eimm5669 since the age of 18. Fill it with as much detail as you possibly can, making sure there are no gaps. If you have to update any other documents in this process, then raise a webform and update those documents in order to support your eimm5669. I missed a detail in my dads resume which I included in the eimm5669 form, so I submitted an updated one via webform before my dad submitted the eimm5669 form on gckey.

My parents were invited for medical exams recently. The wife who is the principal applicant is in good health while the dependant husband cannot attend now due to illness. Can the wife go for the medical exam while the husband ask for postponement and will this affect the wife's chance ?.Please your urgent response is required

They both should do it within the time period indicated. If the husband is too sick then he is unlikely to pass the medical in the first place. If it is more of an acute situation then you should advise IRCC that medical will be done as soon as possible with approximate date. I would attach proof of surgery/hospitalization for example. If it is an acute episode where it may take an extra week or two to do medicals IRCC will likely overlook the delay.

PGP processing is long with long periods of time when nothing happens. Impossible to say when will receive PPR. Could be months but also could be years.

1) If on GcKey it says 'You have passed the medical exam', does this imply that both the principal applicant and dependent have passed the medical exam?

2) When does one typically receive the Prearrival service letter? I saw posts where some applicants received theirs after biometrics and before their medical but I didn't received it yet. Is it because eligibility and background are still in process?

3) Also does anyone know what's the next step after passing medical exam?
