She is US citizen and canada Pr right now.

I filled out web form for update and they said that it is within correct timeline right now

At times they say you are not authorized to ask info on behalf of child so I filled out representative form.
Then they emailed me you don't need representative form as you are mother of a minor. Lol

Honestly with phone calls and webforms, it really depends on who do you get sometimes. It's frustrating to say the least

Still nothing for the security screening of some people I know who applied beginning of summer 2023. Oh well, it's disheartening, but patience is key :/

Nov 2023 AOR here. Language, presence, test are all completed. Pending BG check and Prohibition. I called IRCC several times throughout the last 14 months, and always get the same answer: criminality passed, security check is in process, which has started in November 2023! This is crazy, and my background is nothing complicated!
My application (1 adult) was submitted from Montreal, and now it is transferred to Vancouver.
I got a ghost update on January 28, yet nothing was changed. Some folk says that the criminality expired so they renewed it. That's all, but it still gives me hope.

Oct 2023 AOR here, physical and language were finally completed last week! BG and prohibitions are still pending.

I guess I am one of the people here who got stuck the longest. I called IRCC last week and it's the same old please wait. My MP office said they are expecting an update from IRCC this week, but knowing my MP's office is probably getting their moving boxes ready when the federal election starts, I don't think I can count on them for pushing anything through. I am seriously considering going to an immigration lawyer.

For those of you looking to get MP offices for help, be aware that they are all shutting down very soon. Most of them are in the process of cleaning up and deleting all the files because the impending election.
