My BG just got completed on Oct 7, after 17 months in SS. Waiting on Prohibitions and Oath now which I’m hoping move faster. Encouraging news, for what it’s worth.. things are moving ..even though it’s ridiculously slow.

My BG check finally just got completed on Oct 7th as well. Waiting for Prohibitions and Oath now. AOR-Apr 2023. SS-May 2023.

Per GCMS notes, the criminality section expires after 1 year. You'll notice in your GCMS notes that they re-do it after 1 year. For those who are asked for finger prints for criminality clearance, they may ask you for finger prints again.

Same boat buddy, still waiting. I received GCMS notes this week but still no progress.

Still stuck on BG check

Same here March 27, 2023 application and AOR April 13th. Still waiting for BG and prohibitions. The only thing keeping me sane at this point is that I’m not alone and my PR is valid till the end of 2025.

Yeah I got the same and was hopeful. But now I’m thinking it’s similar to the ghost update that everyone had back in October. No real update

At least good to know we’re not alone. Filed March 27 2023. Current processing time on the website is 8 months‍ :(

I got Language and Physical presence completed on March 5th. Waiting for BG and Prohibitions now

Same situation. Mine was just updated March 5th. First update since test completed June 19th 2023.

I requested the notes 3 weeks ago but haven't received it yet. Called them 2 weeks ago and they said we're still within the 15 months window. No idea why it's stuck, I've lived in Mtl for over 11 years with no issues. Just have to wait patiently I guess. I'm not worried/panicking yet though cos...

Just to help give perspective for recent applicants. March 2023 applicant here. No updates since my test was marked complete June 19th 2023. You can only hope yours will move fast. People have their theories, but I haven't seen any solid ones that help figure out why some move faster than others.

Same here. Nothing since test status completed June 19th.

My BG verification and LPP are pending. I wasn't asked for fingerprints though. Last update was June 19 for the test. Looks like I'm seeing more people have BG completed but just waiting for LPP. Online application from Montreal.

Have you tried contacting them? The website says you should contact them if you don't receive an email with a verification code within 12 hours
