I have already received the pre arrival letter and medical is scheduled for today for my kid. But i am just not able to link the application on GC key or applcication status tracker.

Any help will be appreaciated

Is the AOR email same as the one in which we get to know the application number? I am unable to link it to application status tracker or GC Key.

Did you bring your daughter to canada on TRV ? Given the PR approval took 11 months, did you apply for TRV extension ( visitor record). What did you mention the reason for extension?

Yes, my daughter traveled with me on a TRV. In our case we did not require a Visitor Record since we traveled to India twice after applying for PR. But it is advisable to get a VR in case your child cannot travel outside Canada within 6 months.

When did you get the COPR?

We just got my daughter's medical done last week and today when i checked the application status portal , medical and eligibility was showing as COMPLETE and in document section , I was also able to COPR details like document number. Does this PR is already approved? I havent got any mail yet. What are the next steps?

I sponsored my 16 yo dependent child on December 2023, received the PPR on September 26, 2024. My niece will send thru courier by tomorrow morning. My dependent is from Philippines, does she need to attend PDOS before leaving the country? My dependent will fly by herself, I have read that if they landed as immigrant, they are not required to show the DSWD travel pass. Any ideas about this case? Thank you in advance to the ones who will reply this question.

Yes, she needs the PDOS, she can do it online and will get the certificate thru online too. DSWD travel clearance is required to all minors if not accompanied by parents, and will be checked in the Philippine immigration upon departure. My daughter was 13 and accompanied by brother (not minor).

Received email to send personal information like Name, UCI, Height etc: 22 Aug 2024

Now awaiting portal access to submit information and photograph and then a COPR/PR Card hopefully.

Hello, Can you guide on how you informed using the webform? What option to choose from webform ? There are many options ranging from check application status, add document to application , change update contact information and Others

ALso did you use the webform provided on the the PPT or did you use New Delhi specific webform?

No. We just filled up the form and notarized by the attorney.

no issues in going for TRV first. i have done the same

2.) Application returned: Dec 13, 2023
3.) Application re-submitted: Dec 13, 2023
4.) AOR Received : Jan 20, 2024
5.) Sponsor Eligibility Approval: Feb 09, 2024
6.) Immigration Medical Examination Request: May 22, 2024
7.) Immigration Medical Examination Done: May 27, 2024
8.) Got Email to provide basic details Last entry date, original entry date, height, eye colour, UCI no and address. (everything provided) : Aug 08, 2024
9.) Received Pre-Arrival Letter : Aug 09, 2024
10.) Again received the same email asking the basic details which has been provided to them on Aug 08,2024 (Again responded to same) : Sep 23,2024
11.) Called IRCC to know why i received 2 similar emails (one on Aug 08, and other on Sep 23) asking for the same basic details and informed by them that my case is with London, UK so i should contact them, i raised the webform informing the same that i have provided the details earlier and again the same details has been asked : Oct 9,2024
12.) Received email to check Permanent Resident Portal and confirm the status of child if in Canada, provide address and upload photo which is done today itself : Oct 15, 2024.

Now just waiting for the PR card to be mailed to the address.

I will suggest everyone if something not feels right with your case (like mine) dont waitand contact IRCC immediately, i felt i contacted them and send the webform hence they have pushed my case.

Hi. When you get a passport submission letter, it will have link to the webform. From the list, choose "Update or ask about your application". Then choose "Other". And then in the webform fill in all details and explain the situation in the last box. That is what I did

Thanks! But there was no option to choose dependent child sponsorship, I chose Parents, grandparents & Others. hope that will not be an issue.
