In our case, my daughter was "IN CANADA" when I applied for her PR Sponsorship

Request for Medical Exam: 12 Jan 2024
Medical Exam Updated: 24 Jan 2024
File Transfered to Home Country Visa Office: 11 Apr 2024
Pre Arrival Letter: 3 Aug 2024
Request for Passport: 4 Aug 2024
Informed IRCC about My Daughter being in Canada through webform: 6 Aug 2024
Received confirmation from Home Country Visa Office that processing is complete and File transferred to IRCC Canada: 21 Aug 2024
Received email to send personal information like Name, UCI, Height etc: 22 Aug 2024

Now awaiting portal access to submit information and photograph and then a COPR/PR Card hopefully.

Is the AOR email same as the one in which we get to know the application number? I am unable to link it to application status tracker or GC Key.

Did you bring your daughter to canada on TRV ? Given the PR approval took 11 months, did you apply for TRV extension ( visitor record). What did you mention the reason for extension?

Finally got the PPR!! A quick question to the fellow sponsors here: Did we pay Right for PR fee? According to the website, it says its not required. I wonder whether this is the accepted case and when passport submission it hadn't made an issue.

Also, do we get the COPR when they return the passport or is it a digital copy that comes separately?

You most likely have paid it, IRCC would have told you to pay it if you hadn't. But do check.

COPR will be returned with the passport.

I havent paid for it. According to IRCC web:

The RPRF applies to all permanent residence applicants except:

• dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
• Protected Persons, including Convention refugees.

So I assumed it's not required as I am only sponsoring my son at the moment.

No, was wondering whether someone had any confusion regarding this during the passport handling cause I am dealing with a local VFS outside of Canada.

Not sure, if anyone of you recieved the same email twice,

i received the portal confirmation email on Aug -08 to provide some basic details of my son which was done on the same date and i replied to the email,

I received the same email today asking to provide the details again..which is frustrating..

Please let me know if anyone of you faced or received the same email twice?

It's been 80 days still no AOR

Try different combination, i tried at least 30+ times and finally got linked!
