I applied for my father on June 18th.The status shows as submitted and no biometrics request as well.

Also I raised a webform couple of days ago.No response yet.

I applied for Visitor visa a couple of days back from India. I mentioned that I am applying from US as I will be back in the US in the next few days. I applied on June 16th and I still see the application stuck at background check. Is this because they are seeing in the system that I have left US? When can I expect them to process my application? Should I apply again once I reach US?

Applied my daughter trv .on 24th May 2024 . She is in usa for studies at F1 visa . Bio done on 18th june from usa . Bio updated on 20th june . Today review of elegibilty started . She is Pakistani citizen.

I mentioned in my application that I am living in US as my visit to India was a short visit. If they consider as applying from India then it's unfair.

Its based on your current country of residence mentioned in the Application

In the application my current residence is US only. Not sure what went wrong that my applications are stuck in background verification for almost 2 weeks now. I have seen that if you apply from US then the Biometrics email comes within 2-3 days.

You said you applied on June 16. You have to at least wait till July 16 before starting to think that something went wrong with your application. The tracker and IRCC website don't get updated in real time. Be patient and don't panic. You'll get your approval hopefully soon.

I don't think so. Did you miss anything when uploading? If not and they need anything, they'll contact you.
