Then apply now if your spouse's convocation held in March. Make sure your in-laws have their documents for submission to IRCC. Furthermore, you should get GCMS notes for them to see what the real reason of the previous refusal.
Thank you for reply. if i apply now there would not be convocation letter that i can submit at time of application. Would submitting through webform would be ok later in January? i've seen people getting rejection if convocation date has passed. would it be better to include reason of visiting my spouse as purpose of the visit too? i've already order GCMS notes for them. below were the reasons & note from officer:
"I have considered the following factors in my decision.
The applicant's assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for themselves (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
The purpose of applicant's visit to Canada is not consistant with a temporary stay given the details provided in the application.
Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at theend of the period authorized for their stay.
For the reasons above, I have refused this application."
